The annual St. Finnan’s Bonspiel took place on Saturday, January 25 at the Alexandria Curling Club and was presented by Knights of Columbus Council 10640 and the Catholic Women’s League at St. Finnan’s Basilica. The highest one-game total among the 20 teams competing was tied between teams skipped by Donnie MacDougald and Richard Theoret. The Vankleek Hill area entry in the bonspiel was skipped by Leslie Dandy with Cameron McCormick as third, James Morgan as second, and Kyle McCormick as lead. Their result was less noteworthy, losing 6-0 in one game, and 7-5 in the second game.
