The Seaway Valley Theatre Company invites you to attend the winter musical of their 2024/2025 season, the Elvis-inspired ‘50s rock-n-roll fantasy, “All Shook Up.”

It’s 1955. Into a square little town in a square little state rides Chad, a great-lookin’, motorcyclin’, guitar-playin’, leather-jacketed roustabout who changes everything and everyone he meets. Loosely based on Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night,” this hip-swivelling, lip-curling musical fantasy will have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with the hits of Elvis Presley, including classics like “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”

The show features a cast of more than thirty of Cornwall and area’s finest stage performers who are ready to whisk you back to the birth of rock n’ roll. In the director’s chair once more is Corey Disotell, who has been at the helm of such SVTC productions as “The Sound of Music,” “Elf the Musical JR.,” and “Nana’s Naughty Knickers.” The show is choreographed by the solid one-two punch team of Stéphanie Charette and Amy Malyon, who have been longtime SVTC members both onstage and behind the scenes. Producing the show are SVTC Marketing Committee members Shirley Robertson and Christiane Taylor. And leading a solid ten-piece orchestra is musical director, Elizabeth Caddell.
