Use of the indoor walking/running track at The Nation Sports Complex in Limoges will be free for residents during 2025 and 2026.
The municipality has received assistance from the United Counties of Prescott and Russell (UCPR) Regional Community Investment Fund to make the free track use possible. The fund allows mayors of municipalities to request up to $50,000 each year for community projects.
“This initiative is a reflection of our commitment to promoting health and accessibility for all residents of The Nation. We are proud to work with the UCPR to ensure everyone can benefit from our amazing facility and lead healthier lives,” The Nation Mayor Francis Brière said.
Current membership holders will be refunded the difference in value from January 1, 2025, to the expiration date of their pass. This ensures all users can benefit equally from this initiative.
First-time visitors are encouraged to stop by the reception desk on their initial visit to learn about the track’s rules and policies.
