Two people are dead following a vehicle collision in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge.
At around 7 am on Wednesday, November 20, Sûreté du Québec police officers were notified of a vehicle leaving the road on the 2nd Concession, in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge. According to initial information, for reasons still unknown as of Thursday, November 21, the driver lost control of his vehicle on a slight curve and then hit a tree.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital to be treated for serious, life-threatening injuries.
Two passengers were taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead. They are a woman in her early 40’s and a man in his 60’s.
A reconstructionist went to the scene to analyze the scene with our investigators. The road was opened around 2:30 pm Wednesday. The coroner was also notified.
The investigation is continuing.
