The United Counties of Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry (SDG) is receiving $2,061,656 and the Township of South Glengarry is receiving $495,151 in 2025 from the Ontario government’s Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF).

According to Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) Nolan Quinn, the grants are part of a contribution totalling $10,055,615 to all municipalities within SDG and the City of Cornwall.

“This funding is part of a broader, strategic capital plan that prioritizes the needs of small, rural, and northern communities. By addressing infrastructure challenges head-on, we are reinforcing our dedication to equitable development and enhancing the quality of life for all residents of Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry,” Quinn said.

OCIF specifically assists municipalities with populations under 100,000 with local infrastructure projects.
