Renovations are on the way for public tennis courts in Saint-André-d’Argenteuil.
The municipality is receiving financial support from the Québec government for the project, and the addition of a multi-sport surface has been selected under the Financial Assistance Program for Recreational and Sports Infrastructure (PAFIRSPA).
The municipality plans to launch calls for tenders so that work can begin in spring 2025.
“Residents will be able to enjoy the facilities free of charge during the summer. The benefits for our village will be numerous: these spaces will be used by families, couples and seniors. We would also be delighted to work with the Saint-André elementary school to reserve certain time slots for school groups,” said Mayor Stephen Matthews.
Finally, the municipality of Saint-André-d’Argenteuil is committed to choosing a contractor that will offer an environmentally friendly solution.
