Two events are coming to the Glengarry Pioneer Museum. Three events are taking place during the weeks ahead as fundraisers and community activities.
Trivia Night – Friday, November 8. Tickets are still available through our website. If you can’t make it, but are interested in donating towards this joint venture with the Maxville Manor Redevelopment, perhaps you would consider sponsoring a category in the Trivia Night? For a donation of $150+, we will add your name or business name to the slideshow during the evening. For example, “The Music category is sponsored by John Doe of Maxville”. Proceeds will be split evenly between the Maxville Manor & Glengarry Pioneer Museum. Every bit counts!
Jane Austen Style Hand Sewing Workshop & Tea – Sunday, November 10. Monique Trudell from Apple Hill Quilting is doing this fun workshop to teach the art of hand-stitching by creating a decorative needle book and wool strawberry pin cushion. Beginners are welcome. Ages 12+. All supplies, including a mini sewing kit, are included in the fee. Tea and refreshments will be available. 9am to 4pm at the DRA hall. $60 for the day.
