Champlain Township residents had the opportunity to learn about fire safety, prevention, and what firefighters do to keep our community safe on Wednesday, October 9.

The fire department held open houses at the Vankleek Hill and L’Orignal fire halls.

Firefighters demonstrated equipment, answered questions and provided information. Fire trucks were open for exploring and the firefighters were grilling hotdogs for visitors.
