The Prescott and Russell Development Corporation (PRDC) presented its second President’s Award on September 25 at the Vankleek Hill Vineyard.
André Martel, President of Martel & Fils Inc., was honoured as the winner during the PRDC’s annual general meeting. Recipients of the President’s Award demonstrate commitment to their community, economic development, and support for the entrepreneurial ecosystem through their leadership.
Martel’s “vision and commitment have had a profound impact on the economic and entrepreneurial landscape of Prescott and Russell. Over time, he has not only stimulated economic growth, but also promoted job creation and business prosperity,” Luc Filion, Chairperson of the PRDC stated.
Through its funding by the Government of Canada through FedDev Ontario, the PRDC is the only organization that supports the economic development of communities and businesses in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell.
