The Town of Hawkesbury has introduced the Bciti+, a new app designed to make it easier for citizens to access municipal and community information. This new tool has been developed to help residents more easily navigate local events, activities and resources, improving their experience and access to useful information.

 About the application

Bciti+ was created in response to the difficulty encountered in navigating and finding necessary information on municipal websites. The application offers a streamlined, efficient interface, highlighting the slogan “Your city, simplified”. It enables municipalities to adjust the functionalities offered according to citizens’ needs. In constant evolution, the application offers modules such as: status of services, municipal and community news and events, notices and notifications, citizen requests, as well as essential resources.

The application is now available in Hawkesbury. It automates the dissemination of information available on both the app and the Town’s new website, providing timely and reliable information. While the app is launched, its usefulness will reach its peak with the arrival of the new website scheduled for November.

“We want residents to be able to access information easily, while improving communication between citizens and the Town. This project will benefit the entire community. We are delighted to take this next step in the relationship between the Town and its citizens,” Hawkesbury Mayor Robert Lefebvre said.

Residents and non-residents are invited to download the app now, available on the App Store and Google Play, or visit hawkesbury.bciti.com. A series of online training sessions is also available on the Town of Hawkesbury website.
