The Director-General of the chamber of commerce serving Rigaud, St-Lazare, and Hudson, has resigned.

Mathieu Miljours resignation as the general manager of the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Vaudreuil-Soulanges (CCIVS) is effective immediately.

After careful consideration, Miljours decided to pursue other opportunities which could have conflicted with his role at the CCIVS.

The CCIVS board of directors has recognized Miljours for his 14 years of involvement with the organization. He served as a director for 10 years, including four years as President, and then became Director-General in 2020.

“I thank Mathieu for his contribution to the development of our Chamber. He had the success of our members and our region at heart. On behalf of the Board of Directors, we wish him the best of luck in pursuing his new challenges,” said CCIVS President Serge Ouellet.

Staff and the CCIVS Board of Directors will oversee the management of the chamber of commerce until a new Director-General is appointed.
