The population of Riceville swelled from Friday, August 23 to Sunday, August 25 during the annual Riceville Fair. The old-fashioned fair celebrates the best of local farm and country life. The beef cattle show, tractor pulls, equestrian events, competitions for crops, flowers, food, and crafts were all part of the fair. The popular Sunday brunch was also enjoyed by many hungry visitors.
