For the third year in a row, Art in the Garden is back in Vankleek Hill!
On Saturday, August 17, the lawn of St. John’s Anglican Church will feature 60 artists and artisans displaying and selling their work.
August 17 is also the third day of the 180th Vankleek Hill Fair. So, why not take a walk over from the fairgrounds and check out Art in the Garden? Enjoy a relaxing walk around the historic churchyard, chat with artists, admire their work, and even buy some to enjoy in your own home or share as a gift.
Art in the Garden not only helps promote artists and their work, but is also a fundraiser for St. John’s church, which is part of the Anglican Parish of the Lower Ottawa Valley. The parish will be operating a canteen on site offering sandwiches and snacks.
Two other important parts of Vankleek Hill’s history and culture are also located near where Art in the Garden is taking place. Visit the Higginson Tower and Arbor Gallery to complete your visit.
Art in the Garden takes place from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, August 17 on the lawn and along the lane in front of St. John’s Anglican Church off Highway 34 in Vankleek Hill.
