The earliest agricultural fair in Ontario’s most easterly counties took place in Maxville from Friday, June 21 to Sunday, June 23. Fortunately, the rain had not arrived yet on the morning of Saturday, June 22, making for a drier day for Maxville Fair participants and spectators alike. Highlights of Saturday included the English equestrian competition, baby show, homecraft exhibits, and educational displays.
