The Ville de Brownsburg-Chatham has announced its program for Fête Nationale 2024 on Monday, June 24.  The theme this year is Retrouvons-nous à la belle étoile or “Let’s meet under the stars.” On June 24, the celebration will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Camping municipal Brownsburg-Chatham, located at 457, route des Outaouais (Route 344).

From 10 a.m., access to the site will be free for all, until the end of the event at 6 p.m. Several activities are on the program, such as crafts, face painting, board games and non-permanent tattoos, provided by the Maison des jeunes Brownsburg-Chatham youth centre. Other activities for youth will include euro bungee, climbing wall, and circus workshop.  

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Brasserie Sir John Brewing co. as well as two food trucks, the Twist and Le Roi du Taco, will also be there to offer food and drinks, and the Aux 3 Branches snack bar at the campground will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. A ceremony with a tribute to the flag will take place at 2 p.m.

Music will be provided by DJ Abeille from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

People planning to attend the Brownsburg-Chatham Fête Nationale celebration are asked to bring a folding chair and a reusable water bottle. Water fountains are accessible on site. Glass bottles and animals are prohibited on site.
