An 88-year-old man could face a series of charges after police searched a residence in Brownsburg-Chatham and seized a quantity of illegal drugs and other contraband items.
On Tuesday, April 30 MRC d’Argenteuil Sûreté du Québec officers carried out a search at a residence on rue Gisèle in Brownsburg-Chatham and seized the following:
• More than 40 grams of cocaine;
• More than 250 grams of crack;
• Nearly 400 methamphetamine pills;
• More than 320 grams of cannabis;
• More than 10 ml of GHB;
• Equipment intended for drug trafficking;
• More than $2,249 in Canadian money;
• More than 2,730 contraband cigarettes;
• A 2019 Ford F150 brand vehicle as infringing property.
The suspect will be required to appear in court at a later date.
The search and seizure resulted from an investigation initiated following information received from the public.
