Vankleek Hill artist Ian Griffiths was recently honoured with a People’s Choice award, thanks to votes from gallery visitors in Cornwall. Visitors to the Cline House Gallery selected Griffiths’ oil painting “Bunn” as the winner of its 2024 People’s Choice Award. “Bunn” is a painting of a Bunn brand coffeemaker, commonly found in restaurants and reflects Griffiths’ interest in painting household and industrial objects with amazing clarity. Earlier in the winter of 2024, Griffiths’ work was on display at The Review offices in Vankleek Hill.
