Saturday February 3 was a fun-filled day at the Alexandria Curling Club. Knights of Columbus Council #10640 and the Catholic Women’s League of St. Finnan’s Parish presented the annual St. Finnan’s Bonspiel. The event attracted 14 teams. Along with a full day of fun and friendly curling, there was an excellent roast beef dinner and live entertainment featuring many talented musicians and dancers from across Glengarry.
The winning team was comprised of Bill Hughes, Liz McCormick, Frances McCormick, and Jeff Neilson.
Members of the runner-up team were Tom Laframboise, Mary Laframboise, Shirley Secours, and Diane Riley.
