The Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a fatal collision in La Nation Township, after a Rockland man was killed in a single-vehicle accident.
On November 12, 2022, just after 4 p.m., OPP officers, Prescott-Russell Paramedic Services and the Nation Township Fire Department responded to a collision involving a single vehicle going through the guard rail of the Henri Séguin Bridge, at the intersection of County Road 9 and Concession 12 of La Nation Township.
The driver, a 27-year-old from Rockland, was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency medical services.
The collision remains under investigation with assistance from the OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) and Reconstructionist.
