The Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will be holding its annual Christmas Food Drive Campaign on Saturday, November 12.
All regular and auxiliary members of the detachment are inviting the public to join them at Asselin Your Independent Grocer in Hawkesbury, where they will be collecting donations of food and money to assist local food banks and to provide snowsuits for local children.
Santa Claus and the Hawkesbury OPP mascot Rosie will be there. Parents are encouraged to bring their children and take photos.
The Hawkesbury OPP Food Drive Campaign takes place on Saturday, November 12, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Photos with Santa Claus are available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Everything is happening at Asselin Your Independent Grocer, located at 1560 Cameron Street (at intersection with Highway 17), in Hawkesbury.
