The TD Summer Reading Club at the Champlain Library is still going strong. This summer kids have been encouraged to explore Myths and Legends through adventure and play during the weekly activities.

A Wrap Up Event of the Summer Reading Club will take place on Wednesday, August 17 from 10 am to noon at the Mill Street Park in Vankleek Hill. The library is very excited to have renowned storyteller Daniel Richer bring the richness of aboriginal culture and history to the celebration. His legends and stories speak of respect and harmony among all living things and demonstrate how the poeple around the world are part of the sacred circle of life. There will also be a scavenger hunt, prizes and more. Bring your own picnic and bathing suits for after the event.

It’s not too late to get in on the fun! To participate, kids must be registered in the Summer Reading Club and be a member of the Champlain Library.
