The anvils will be ringing this weekend (June 18 and 19), as the Glengarry Pioneer Museum hosts its fifth annual ‘Smith-In’.

Blacksmiths from across Ontario, Québec, as well as several from the United States will converge at the museum in Dunvegan to exhibit their craft. Special demonstrations will include the use of a replica early 19th century military forge cart, a wheelwright demonstration, the making of musket barrels, tools, and much more.

Children’s activities, craft vendors and food will be available on site. Please note that craft vendors will only be on site Saturday.

The cost of admission for the weekend is $10 for adults and $25 for families. Admission for members of the Pioneer Museum is $5 for individuals and $15 for families.
