The 22nd annual Vankleek Hill Music and Arts Summer Camp will take place from July 4 to 15 (weekdays) from 8:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. The camp, for youths ages six to 13, is organized by the not-for-profit Vankleek  Hill Music Festival organization. This year’s camp will take place at Vankleek Hill Collegiate Institute.

Local music teachers work with youth volunteers to run the camp, which is open to students who have never taken music lessons but is also open to those who are already taking music lessons of some kind.

Students will engage in musical activities, as well as art and dance. Students will be learning various instruments, including harp and ukelele.

There are spaces for about 60 participants; the deadline to register is June 15. The cost for the two-week session is $260 per child.

The registration form can be found on the Vankleek Hill Music & Arts Summer Camp Facebook page. It is attached at the end of this article.
