Notice of a Complete Application and of a
Public Meeting Concerning a
Proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Champlain received a complete application and will hold a Public Meeting on  June 9, 2022 at 7:00 p.m., at the Township Office, 948 Pleasant Corner Road East, to consider a proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law No. 2000-75 of the Township of Champlain under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended.

THE PURPOSE AND EFFECT OF THE ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT is to rezone the property municipally known as 2487 County Road No. 17, Longueuil from RU-33-ar to RU-38-ar to permit existing buildings and structures as a result of a surplus dwelling severance. Furthermore, the rezoning will remove residential uses from the retained lands consisting of Part of Lots 144, 172, 174, 176 and 177 Registered Plan M-100, Longueuil from RU, RU-ar RU-33-ar, RU-33 and A to A-19 and A-19-ar. Obtaining a Zoning By-law Amendment is a condition of consent application B-109-2021 and B-023-2022.
