Cottagers and anglers heading to Lac Louisa can expect a detour during the next month.

The Ministère des transports du Québec is replacing the apron and guardrails on the bridge over Riviere de l’Ouest on chemin du Lac-Louisa in Wentworth-Nord. The second phase of the work began on September 2 and will continue for four weeks. During this period, only bicycle and pedestrian traffic will be allowed across the bridge.

A detour will be in place, via the municipal network on the main road, chemin Lanthier and rue des Pivoines, which are connected by a private road only for the construction period.

The first phase of this project began on August 9, in order to begin the replacement of the bridge deck.
