The 6th edition of the Coureurs des bois Challenge will take place in the Lavigne Natural Park in Bourget throughout September.

The event attracted more than 1,400 participants from Prescott-Russell and surrounding areas in 2021. This year, several challenges await runners and walkers, including many natural obstacles!

The Coureurs des bois Challenge attracts athletes and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and all fitness levels. Two courses are offered in the magnificent paths of the Lavigne Natural Park, one of three kilometres and another of five kilometres in length. The activity is free for everyone.

“Today, more than ever, we realize the importance of being active and participating in outdoor activities. The benefits are numerous, as much for the body as for the soul,” said Chantal Lalonde. “The Challenge is a great opportunity to have fun while discovering one of our most beautiful natural parks.”
