An appreciation of elegant simplicity

To The Editor,

I would like to express abundant appreciation for The Review’s publishing of Maria Michalska’s elegantly simple photographic image in last week’s issue (February 24, 2021). Some times a simple composition of line, shape, and shadow can create for the viewer a transcendental experience of awe and beauty. This image was a joy for me to see and experience.
