The Sûreté du Québec Major Crimes Investigation Department, in collaboration with the officers from the Argenteuil MRC station, carried out two searches, on January 21, in connection with break-ins and thefts that have occurred in recent months.
The police searched residences on rue des Rosiers in Wentworth and rue des Mauves in Gore. During the searches, the police seized:
A 2007 Chevrolet Silverado truck
A Ski-Doo snowmobile
Several pieces of furniture
Residence doors
Several tools
Two guns
The investigation, link the seized items seized to fifteen files police are working on, is continuing and arrests are expected in this case.
