In order to ease the gloom of being indoors due to COVID-19 restrictions,  Brownsburg-Chatham council has decided to allow free access to its cross-country ski and snowshoe trails this winter.

The mental health of all is important, so what could be better than getting some fresh air on an enchanting site?” said Mayor Catherine Trickey.

Residents of Brownsburg-Chatham and surrounding areas will be able to enjoy cross-country skiing or snowshoeing free of charge on marked, maintained and safe trails. Trail access is from the entrance to the Golf l’Oasis, at 424, route du Nord (Route 327).  Visitors are required to get a day pass inside and observe all sanitary measures. Fees remain in place for visitors wanting to rent skis or snowshoes.

The La Randonnée cross-country ski center welcomes visitors from Thursday to Sunday, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., depending on the temperature.
