Attempted arson in East Hawkesbury under investigation

The Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating an attempted arson at a home in East Hawkesbury Township.

On October 9, 2020, shortly after midnight, officers were dispatched to a residence on Petite Quatorze Road. A window of the home had been smashed and an attempt had been made to start a fire. There was minimal damage and no injuries.

Members of the Hawkesbury OPP Crime Unit are investigating the incident.
