On Thursday, the Minister responsible for the Laurentides region and member of the Québec legislature for Mirabel, Sylvie D’Amours, announced on behalf of Minister of Tourism Caroline Proulx, the allocation of $1 ,172,032 to Tourisme Laurentides. This aid will be used to support projects involving tourism businesses in the region that are suffering the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Laurentides region includes the MRC d’Argenteuil.

This announcement follows the unveiling, by the Minister of Tourism on June 11, of the $753 million tourism recovery plan.
