The Board of Directors and Management Team from Community Living Glengarry would like to acknowledge their front line workers for creatively engaging the people they support during this challenging time. In the early stage of covid-19 the residences’ windows were adorned with wonderful window art; people were supported to stay in touch with their families by face timing, emailing, and sending letters. Many people passed the time with craft projects, baking, building bird houses, visits from employees’ pets, car bingo, walking on the trails and biking. Birthdays were celebrated. A special 75th birthday consisted of a family drive by parade, then gathering in the parking lot next door singing “Happy Birthday”! Their employees have demonstrated great perseverance, compassion and dedication. Thank you for providing such great support to those in their services!
