I would like to give a shout out to the staff at Glengarry Memorial Hospital. I was in hospital from the end of March to mid-June this year and I couldn’t have had better care. From the housekeeping staff to the kitchen staff who were unfailingly cheerful, from the PSWs to the nurses, who were always kind, caring, attentive and pleasant. They all had to deal with difficult patients from time to time and did so with patience and understanding. I am so grateful to the physio and occupational therapists who helped me regain my strength, my cognitive skills and my mobility after many weeks of being bedridden. They motivated me to keep moving forward and my time in the hospital ended with me being able to go home. I also have to give a shout out to Dr. Nadia Kucherepa (Dr. K) for whom I can’t say enough kind words. She showed a level of compassion and respect to all her patients. She helped me so much on my road to recovery and I will be forever grateful to her and to everyone at Glengarry Memorial. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
