Graffiti in Grenville leads to investigation

Police and the Village of Grenville are looking for answers regarding graffiti that was found on public buildings in the village over the past weekend.

Sometime during the night of Friday, January 24 and Saturday January 25, vandals spray painted the anarchy symbol on the outside of the municipal building and École Dansereau-St-Martin.

The municipality wants the public’s help and is looking for tips from anyone who saw suspicious activity during the night.

Anyone with information should call the village of Grenville office at 819-242-2146, extension 2500, by email at [email protected], or by Facebook message on the Municipalité du Village de Grenville page.

The Sûreté du Québec has also opened an investigation into the graffiti in Grenville.  Anyone with information on the incident can call 450-562-2442.
