Police arrived at an apartment on Rue Lafleur at around 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 19 and discovered an injured man in his 20s who was sent to hospital and then pronounced dead.  The other victim, a man in his 50s, remains in hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

According to SQ spokesperson Marc Tessier, police know that at least one suspect entered the apartment.  The Major Crimes Unit is investigating and will be interviewing witnesses and the surviving victim once he is able to speak with police.
