To The Editor,

For the past two years Arbor Gallery Cultural Center has been actively supporting a wide range of cultural activities, providing visitors and residents of Vankleek Hill with a variety of events including an evening of wine tasting and a series of musical performances.

Arbor Gallery Cultural Centre is home to a series of six “house concerts,” sponsored by Home Routes Canada. This series has introduced appreciative audiences to talented musicians from Canada and the United States, all of whom provide excellent musical presentations in our friendly, artistic, and acoustically pleasant environment. The Gallery has also hosted individual concerts by other artists including several who have sought out our performing space as part of their tours to promote new cd releases. This has been a real boon to our local supporters who are now enjoying first class entertainment value without leaving town.

We have also greatly increased the number of exhibitions over the past couple of years; in 2019 alone we had 8 solo and group shows.  Our reputation is clearly growing and this is evident in the number of artists who are contacting us from Ottawa, Quebec City, Cornwall, Montreal, and Peterborough.  It is clear that we are a unique treasure in this small village: an independent, fully operational art and cultural centre.

If you are searching for the perfect gift for that hard to buy for friend or relative this Christmas why not consider a membership in the Gallery ($40) or an advance ticket to some of the upcoming concerts. You can contact the Gallery for more information: [email protected]

Finally, as the year comes to a close the Arbor Gallery Cultural Center Board of Directors takes this opportunity to thank our volunteers, artists, members and visitors for their support and look forward to seeing you in 2020. We wish all of you a most happy holiday season and continued health and success in the new year.

The Board of Directors,

Arbor Gallery Cultural Centre,
