CEPEO is using solar power

CEPEO is going green!

The Conseil des Écoles Publique de l’Est Ontarien (CEPEO), wants to get students involved in environmental initiatives like green and renewable energy. Grade six, seven, and eight students will be having a competition of solar-powered boats on September 26 and 27. They will be taught how to design their boats and will be given the necessary equipment to build them. The CEPEO says this is an effort to make the younger generation understand the gravity of climate change.

The race will take place at École Secondaire Catholique Publique Gisèle Lalonde at 500 Millenium Boulevard in Orleans.
