A newly-formed group of artists based in Glen Robertson held its first-ever group show on Sunday, September 8. Twenty artists filled the recreation centre with close to 200 works of art, filling walls, tables, windows, and easels. Many art media were represented, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography, and both blown and stained glass. Organizing committee chair Bob May called the variety a “glorious mix,” revealing a concentration of talent in the area. Hundreds of people attended the art show, with some taking home newly-purchased pieces.
