La Branche culturelle lance son tout premier appel à participation
pour son expo-vente annuelle.
New and emerging artists are invited to submit works to participate in an arts show taking place at the Saint-Louise-de-France Church in Brownsburg-Chatham in November 2018. Accepted works will include paintings, drawings, prints, photographs and sculptures.
All works must be in a format of 12 x 12 inches and have a value of $100 to $150.
Profits from this event will be shared with 50 per cent going to the artist and 50 per cent going to La Branche culturelle.
La Branche culturelle will promote the event and share it on social media platforms as well as in its newsletter.
Technical info:
The 2D works must have be equipped to hang on the wall for display.
Sculptures will be installed on tables unless the artist furnishes a pedestal or other item on which to display the sculpture.
Artists can submit up to three works. The show will last for three weeks.
A vernissage will be organized as part of the official opening of the exhibition/sale.

La Branche culturelle has a mission of giving the Brownsburg-Chatham and region population access to arts in as many forms as possible (music, dance, literature, visual arts, heritage).
The exhibition/sale will take place in the St-Louis-de-France Catholic Church on Thursday, November 1 (official opening from 5 to 7 p.m.) on November 4 and 25 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Sundays), on November 7, 14 and 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Wednesdays) and on November 8, 15 and 22, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

En cette occasion, les artistes établis, émergents ou amateurs, sont invités à soumettre leur candidature. Les disciplines suivantes sont acceptées : peinture, dessin, impression, photographie et sculpture. L’exposition aura lieu à l’église Saint-Louis-de-France au mois de novembre 2018.
Toutes les œuvres doivent être d’un format de 12 x 12 pouces et d’une valeur de 100 à 150$.
Les profits des ventes sont divisés à raison de 50% à l’artiste et de 50% à la Branche culturelle.
La Branche culturelle s’engage à produire le matériel de promotion et à faire la diffusion de l’évènement sur les réseaux sociaux et dans son infolettre.
Détails techniques :
Les œuvres 2D doivent être munies d’œillets et de fil de fer pour l’accrochage.
Les sculptures seront installées sur des tables à moins que l’artiste fournisse un socle.
Les artistes peuvent proposer un maximum de 3 œuvres.
La durée de l’exposition est de 3 semaines.
Un vernissage sera organisé pour la soirée d’ouverture de l’exposition.

La Branche culturelle a pour mission de donner accès à la culture à la population de Brownsburg-Chatham et de la région sous le plus grand nombre de formes possibles (musique, danse, littérature, arts visuels, patrimoine…)
L’expo-vente aura lieu à l’église St-Louis-de-France aux dates suivantes :
- Jeudi le 1er novembre 5 à 7 – Lancement officiel
- Dimanches les 4 et 25 novembre 13 h à 16h
- Mercredis les 7, 14 et 21 novembre 11h à 15h
- Jeudi les 8, 15 et 22 novembre 17h à 20h
