Arbor Gallery Cultural Centre presents “Onà:ke, Canoes, etc.,” a solo exhibition by Susan Jephcott opening Wednesday, August 29, 2018 and running until Sunday, September 30, 2018. The Vernissage/Meet the Artist is on Sunday, September 9, 2018 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
Susan Jephcott lives and works in Vankleek Hill. She works in acrylic and has been painting since the age of 12. She studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Montreal,Que., Jamaica School of Arts & Crafts, Kingston, Jamaica, Jacques Chapedelaine at Cite des Jeunes, Vaudreuil, Que., Sarah Gersowiez, Saidye Bronfman Art Centre and has exhibited in Canada, USA, France and West Indies. Her work is in several private collections. Jephcott has been very active in her community and is one of the original founders with her friends; of the Annual May Art Show in 1982.
