The Russell OPP detachment is seeking help from the public after a suspicious fire occurred at the skateboard park on Concession Street in Russell.

At about 9 p.m.  on August 18, 2018 officers with the Russell County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Russell Fire Department responded to a reported fire at the skateboard park on Concession Street in Russell.

A portable toilet has been deliberately set on fire and was destroyed. There were no injuries.

The OPP would like to talk to anyone who may have any information on the fire or any suspicious activity in the area.
