Champlain Township head librarian Lynda Poyser received a cheque for $2,550 from Amie Willet, owner of Eight Dance Company. About 150 dancers performed at the December 5 concert, which took place at Pleasant Corners Public School. The concert was a fundraiser for the library. The funds will be used to update the children’s reading areas. Find out more about Eight Dance Company on Facebook, and visit the Champlain Library website at www.bc-cl.ca to find out more about library activities and programming.
