I have an odd question and wondered if there are Review readers who may be able to point me in the right direction. I have in my possession an old Canadian General Service medal named to a Captain William Ogden 18th battalion, with two Fenian Raid bars 1866 & 1870. I have been trying to do some research on this officer and have found out he was from East Hawkesbury, but little else. Is there anyone locally who could shed some light or provide some more info on this individual and unit? I would love to come and look through the local records but I live in the UK, so it may be a little difficult.
