The Sûreté du Québec has confirmed two people died following a collision on Autoroute 50 in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge on Monday, May 20.
Initially, the two individuals were in critical condition in hospital, but subsequently succumbed to their injuries. Police are not providing further details at this time related to the identity of the two deceased persons.
Autoroute 50 was closed for many hours on Monday between chemin Avoca in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge and the Fassett exit.
The coroner and police continue to investigate the deaths and collision.
