A preschool in Alexandria is closed, and the official reason is not enough staff.
Centre culturel les trois p’tits points operates the daycare at École élémentaire catholique Elda-Rouleau.
“All I can say about the situation is that we are closed due to simply not having enough employees,” said Centre culturel les trois p’tits points Director-General Marie-Claude Sabourin.
There are normally 14 children from 13 families attending the preschool.
“I hope to be able to reopen from May 27, if I have the necessary staff,” Sabourin said.
Sabourin added that she is working with the families on solutions so they can return to having childcare as soon as possible.
