After a brief illness at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Monday, March 25, 2019 Paul Toupin of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 70. Predeceased by his parents, Gerard and Mariette Toupin and his mother-in-law, Lena Gordon. Loving husband of 36 years to Libby (nee Gordon). Proud and loving father of Kyle. Dearly loved brother of Norman and Jean-Yves and his wife Karen. Fond brother-in-law of Florence Maidens (Donald) and Brian Gordon. Friends may visit at the Hillcrest Funeral Home, 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 1 to 3 pm followed by a Celebration of Paul’s Life at the Vankleek Hill Curling Club, 136 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to the PKD Foundation of Canada, 3-175 The Queensway, Suite 158, Etobicoke, Ontario M9C 5H5 would be appreciated. A special “Thank you” to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Ottawa Heart Institute for the wonderful care and compassion given to Paul.
