Mrs. Jeannine Théorêt from L’Orignal, formerly of Vankleek Hill passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at the age of 75. She was the beloved wife of her first marriage with Charles Berthiaume and of the second marriage with Jacques Tardif; the daughter of the late Roméo Théorêt and the late Lucille Diotte; the cherished mother of Johanne Berthiaume (Pierre Chevalier), Sylvie Berthiaume (Gilles Lemieux), Marc-André Berthiaume (Nathalie Portugais) and beloved mother-in-law of Jean-François Tardif (Nathalie Arcand), Denis Tardif (France Lamarche), Pierre Tardif (Nadia Schneider) and Lucie Tardif (Stéphane Carpentier); the adored grandmother of 13 grandchildren; the great-grandmother of 2 grandchildren; the dear sister of Richard Théorêt (Liette Deschamps), Réjean Théorêt (Monique Lormand), Louise Martel and François Martel (Penny Filiatrault). She was predeceased by two brothers, Yvon Théorêt and Hubert Théorêt (Lise Lalande). He is also survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Jeannine was a dedicated volunteer and was secretary of the Volunteer Association of the Hawkesbury General Hospital and a member of the L’Orignal St-Jean-Baptiste Choir.
