Swail, Elwood Ernest

Peacefully on Tuesday, July 31st, 2018 after a lengthy illness at the Hawkesbury General Hospital, Elwood Swail passed away at the age of 91. He has joined his beloved wife of 65 years, Anne Laura Edgley who predeceased him on June 27th, 2018. Dearly loved brother of Barbara Boag (the late John) of Melbourne Australia. Predeceased by his sister, Madeleine and his brother, Ronald. Dear sister-in-law of Joan Swail of Pointe Claire, QC. Predeceased by his brothers-in-law and their wives; Larry and Lise Edgley and Richard and Emily Edgley. Fond uncle to Tim Swail (Catherine) and Bob Swail, Neil Boag (Gale) Pamela Boag, Peter Boag (Kaylene), all of Melbourne Australia, Jim Edgley (Ivy) Laura Edgley, Dane Edgley (Wendy), Jennifer Coulter (Todd), Patricia Edgley, Linda Edgley and Michael Edgley. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11 am at the Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill followed by A Celebration of Life for Anne and Elwood at 12 noon. Interment will be held at the Arundel Cemetery, Arundel, Quebec at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital 1111 Ghislain Street, Hawkesbury , Ontario K6A 3G5 or the Arundel Cemetery 14 Thomson Road, Arundel, Quebec J0T 1A0 would be appreciated.
