At the Maxville Manor on Friday, February 17, 2017, Erwin Shields of Maxville, age 92 years. Beloved husband of Olive Shields (nee Hall). Loving father of Jack Shields (Elaine) of Apple Hill, Bill Shields (Wendy) of Strathmore, Helen Shields of Maxville, and Sherri Osmar of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of John (Kim), Katherine (Hugh), Ryan (Jen), Robin (Eric), Megan (Jamie), Shawn, Trevor, Laura (Andrew), Chelsea (Joel) and Corrina. Predeceased by one brother, Andrew Shields and by one sister, Mary “Dolly” McConnell.  Also survived by 15 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 20 Main St. South, Maxville (613-527-2898) on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm and on Tuesday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. Funeral Service will be held in the St. Michael and all Angels Anglican Church, Maxville on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 11 am. Spring Interment Fenaghvale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Maxville Manor Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
