Brenda Lynn Parsons passed peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in the arms of loved ones in her home in Hawkesbury. She was surrounded by serene sounds and enveloped in the love of all who knew her. Brenda’s starlight will be shining brightest on her mother Irene (nee King); siblings Brian, Jim, Lynda, and Laura (Drew); nieces and nephews Jamie, Caitie (Colin), Brendan (Laura), Bailey and Erica; her great niece Billie; as well as special friends and anyone fortunate enough to meet her. Brenda was mother to so many of us and cherished visits, photos, and videos of those she loved – especially the wee ones. Not one to stick out in a crowd, you remembered meeting Brenda. She spoke to your soul and made you feel important and loved – Never judged – Fiercely protected. Brenda’s generosity and kindness will always be remembered. Special thank you to her immediate care team for supporting her through this journey: Dr. DiCintio brought comfort, confidence and compassion to Brenda and should be wearing a cape; Dr. Vickers navigated us through treatments with compassion and care, Maureen, Brenda’s private nurse and confidante, the personalized care of the day treatment nursing team at the Hawkesbury Hospital; Carol, Jen, Lynda, and Laura who were beside her every step of this journey. In respect of Brenda’s wishes there will be no Funeral Service. The ability to access hospice care for others to afford a peaceful passing was important to Brenda. If you feel so inclined, donations to the Hospice in Cornwall or to The Parsons Animal Rescue Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
